Knowledge for Life
As a result of state and county budget challenges, we expect cuts from both K-State and Johnson County this year and next. We need to make plans for reducing our costs, which include making changes to our newsletter, Knowledge for Life.
While the newsletter is one of our best ways to share current information, the production costs have grown. We are considering a variety of options to try and save our newsletter, including:
- possibly securing commercial sponsorship,
- charging a subscription fee,
- reducing the content and frequency of mailing
- doing away with a paper copy and switching to an electronic version.
Our first request is that you sign up to receive the newsletter electronically.
- Once you have signed up, you’ll receive a quarterly e-mail alerting you that the newsletter has been posted to our Web site.
- The e-mail will have a hot link to the newsletter, which will be posted in a pdf format.
- You’ll also have the ability to manage your account, including changing your e-mail address or even unsubscribing to the email alerts.
